Micah 7:4-6

⁴ The best of them is like a ^(A)thorn bush,
The most upright like a ^(B)thorn hedge.
The day ^[a]when you post your watchmen,
Your ^(C)punishment is coming.
Then their ^(D)confusion will occur.
⁵ Do not ^(E)trust in a neighbor;
Do not have confidence in a close friend.
Guard ^[b]your lips
From her who lies ^[c]in your arms.
⁶ For ^(F)son disavows father,
Daughter rises up against her mother,
Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
^(G)A person’s enemies are the people of his own household.
